Why Democrats Suck.

In My life I have been a registered Democrat, a registered Republican and am now a registered independant. I gave up on the Democrats because of fiscal irresponsibility. I do have to say I'm amazed today that the GOP is so fiscally irresponsible (as evidenced by Bush's going from a surplus to the bail out). But Bush had help on this and most the the Democrats still in congress helped him. None of them had the balls to oppose him on the war, the Patriot Act (or as I refer to it -the removal of all contitutional rights), the increases in military spending and so on. They acted as Republicans.

I feel for people that don't have as good a life as we experience here in America, but I'm not willing to have our standards lowered for those that don't want to be Americans. The Democrats and the Republicans have given each other the "wink wink" on stopping illegal imigration. Make sure to read the word illegal. The illegal isn't an imigrant that want's to be a citizen. They did not follow our laws to become legal and they should not be here. I have heard all the lame and mostly unprovable hyperbole about how bad it would be or expensive things would be if they weren't here. It's crap. And the Democrats have let ME down in not enforcing our imigration policies and laws. If the laws need to be modified then lets to it with some civil discussion, logic and swift action. If you state a fact make sure it is one (most of the time the Democrats lie or spin as bad as the GOP). Show us the proof of your facts.

Democrats I find most offensive are actually just left wing GOPs in Democrats clothing. They vote along the lines that the GOP puts down, they are not voting my choices and they are not voting with their party.

I also hold the Democrats responsible for not holding the crooks that reamed this country to task. This would include all the Wall Street people, the over compensated upper and mid management in Banking and Auto production, The War profiteers (Like Cheney and Rumsfeld). These CRIMINALS should be behind bars and the Democrats haven't lifted a finger to put them there. Why? because they are just as dirty and criminal.

The Democrats have failed to defend themselves and call to task those that have maligned them. When Fox news puts out spin or lies why haven't the Democrats beaten them into the ground? By not doing so they have given Fox credibility is does not deserve. Why haven't the Democrats divorced themselves from media that lies for their benefit (especially when it is so obvious that some exists)? By neglecting to clean their own side of the street they allow false statements like "The media is left leaning" to appear true. It is long over due for the Democrats to say "the king is naked". I am pissed at the GOP for lying on every issue. I am just as pissed for the Democrats for lying on some issues. With the GOP it's easy. Everything they say is a lie. With the Democrats, it's much harder because I now have to sift through the shit to get to the gems. QUIT LYING! Ommision is a form of lying. Spinning is Lying. Quit acting like the GOP!

What should the Democrats do to help themsleves? Start by standing up for yourself. If you are telling the truth show it. If someone says a bill says something it doesn't or that you stand for something you don't ask them to prove it and show facts. If they can't prove their statments embarass them and make them look like the ass clowns they are. And don't let up. Don't get caught up in defending positions you don't practice yourself. Passing a gun law while having a permit to carry one yourself is stupid. Live cleaner. Don't screw around on your spouse, make backroom deals, sell out America or look the other way for someone that paid for your election. Serve America. Think.
